Perch helps people find NYC cafés that work for getting things done. By creating an account or posting, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines.
The service
Perch is a passwordless community guide. Sign-in uses a magic link, Sign in with Apple, or Google — there is no password. The café directory is built from OpenStreetMap and community ratings. An area may show no cafés until that directory is filled in; empty is a valid state, not a broken app.
Your account
You are responsible for the email or Apple/Google account you use to sign in. Do not impersonate others. We may suspend accounts that spam, harass, or invent shops.
Community content
Ratings, comments, live reports, and photos must come from a real visit. Do not copy Google reviews or other third-party text. Photos you upload must be yours; we may review, approve, or reject them before they appear. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines.
No sale of personal data
We do not sell personal data. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.
Availability
Perch is provided as-is. Listings, scores, and hours can be incomplete or out of date. We are not responsible for what happens at a café you visit.
